Free Solitaire, Made the Right Way

Solitaired CA is a free online Solitaire site built for players who want a fair game. We offer Klondike Solitaire and Spider Solitaire — two of the most-played card games in the world — directly in your browser, with no download, no account, and no cost.

The site exists because most online Solitaire games have a problem that nobody talks about: the shuffle. A completely random deck produces an unwinnable Solitaire layout roughly one in twelve to thirty times, depending on the rules. Most sites deal those hands anyway, so players lose games they played perfectly — not because they made a mistake, but because the deal was impossible from the start. We thought that was worth fixing.

How We Make Every Deal Winnable

Before any deal is shown to a player on this site, it goes through a solver — a piece of software that searches for a complete winning sequence of moves. If the solver cannot find a winning line within a set search budget, the deal is discarded and a new shuffle is generated. Only deals the solver confirms as winnable are shown to you.

This is not a trivial change. The solver needs to run fast enough that the game loads in under a second or two. We built a custom move-search engine specifically for this purpose, tested against thousands of randomly generated deals to verify that it always works with a complete deck of exactly 52 unique cards and that every solution it finds is real — we replay each solution move by move to confirm it actually reaches a winning board state.

For Easy-mode Solitaire, the solver goes a step further: it generates several verified-winnable candidates and picks the one with the simplest solution, so the game is genuinely easier for players who are learning or just want a relaxing win.

What We Offer

We currently offer two games, each with multiple difficulty levels:

Solitaire (Klondike) — the classic single-deck, seven-column game. Easy mode deals one card at a time with unlimited passes and a confirmed-winnable deal. Hard mode limits you to three passes. Hardest mode deals three cards at a time with only one pass — the most traditional and demanding version of the game.

Spider Solitaire — a two-deck, ten-column game where you build complete suit runs on the tableau instead of building foundations one card at a time. Easy (1 suit) deals are solver-verified winnable. Hard (2 suits) and Hardest (4 suits) use a fair, unbiased shuffle and are significantly more challenging.

Built for All Devices

Every part of the site — the card table, the toolbar, the cards themselves — is designed to work as well on a phone as on a desktop. Cards can be moved by tapping or by dragging, on any screen size. The board layout adjusts automatically so no column is ever out of reach.

AdSense and Advertising

This site is supported by advertising through Google AdSense. Ads appear in designated spaces around the game board and do not interrupt gameplay. We do not allow ads to cover cards, toolbar buttons, or any other part of the active game. We never sell your personal data and we do not run pop-ups or auto-playing video ads.

Our Commitment

We will always be free to play. We will always tell you honestly whether your deal has been solver-confirmed or not. And we will never change the cards after you start playing. What you see on the board is exactly what was dealt — no hidden reshuffling, no artificial difficulty adjustments mid-game.
