How to Play Solitaire
Solitaire (Klondike) is a single-player card game where your goal is to move all 52 cards to four foundation piles, organized by suit from Ace to King.
Setup
The tableau has 7 columns. Column 1 has 1 card, column 2 has 2, and so on up to 7. Only the top card of each column is face-up. The remaining cards form the stock pile.
Rules
- Tableau moves: Place a card on another card of opposite color and one rank higher.
- Foundation piles: Build each suit from Ace to King.
- Empty columns: Only Kings (or piles starting with a King) can go in empty columns.
- Stock pile: Draw cards one (Turn 1) or three (Turn 3) at a time from the stock.
- Undo: Use the Undo button or press U to reverse any move.
- Hints: Press the Hint button or H to highlight a suggested move.
Tips to Win
- Reveal face-down cards as fast as possible.
- Prioritize clearing columns to create empty spaces for Kings.
- Always play Aces and 2s to foundations immediately.
- Check the stock pile card before making your first move.
